Looking for ways to get involved with JPAT and Jefferson?
Here are a few ideas to get you started!
Jefferson benefits from volunteers in the classroom, library, and office during the school day; and from volunteers who help to run JPAT programs, events, and fundraisers. Want to learn more about volunteer opportunities? Contact the Volunteer Coordinator for information about current openings, or go to Jefferson’s online volunteer management system to indicate which activities sound appealing to you and complete a background check application; a volunteer chair will follow up with you.

Donate to JPAT. JPAT coordinates many types of fundraisers each year, all of which are important parts of our overall budget. Our fundraisers do not each target individual areas of need, but rather all contribute to the general JPAT budget which is allocated based on input and discussion at the May budget meetings.

Come to a JPAT meeting. JPAT meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Jefferson library. All members of the Jefferson community are welcome; you do not need to be a member of JPAT to attend meetings or volunteer with JPAT activities. Meetings are a great way to find out what’s currently happening at school as well as about upcoming events.
Become a member of JPAT. Membership entitles you to vote on important matters including allocating money raised by JPAT. Membership is $10 per year and registration can be done at any time during the school year. Click here for a membership application form.
There are two ways to become a member.
