We have finalized our supply lists! View it by clicking here. It’s still quite plain and simple, after our changes to it last year, and these supplies are not required!
Students from our Intermediate Life Skills class went to South Albany High school this week to participate in Special Olympics. And what a hit! It was a fun day of competing and cheering as students raced, jumped, and threw. One of our staff even made awesome team shirts.
The Albany Democrat-Herald published a story about the event and you can read it here. Our very own Mary Beth Hill is quoted at the end.
This year the fifth grade has worked hard to put on School House Rock, Jr. And it’s going to be incredible! Families are invited to the evening performances at 7 pm on Thursday, May 18th and Friday, May 19th. Come join the fun and support our fifth grade!
Mr. Yeh has made a playlist of all the shadow puppet performances from the Fine Arts night on Tuesday, the 15th. You can watch the whole thing or each class’s performance here. The Kindergartens and first grades made animals for selections from the “Carnival of Animals” suite by Camille Saint-Saëns, and the second grade performed “Peter and the Wolf” by Serge Prokofiev.
Check it out! Our fifth-grade classes just took a salmon watch field trip at Clemens Park. The Gazette-Times has made a really neat video about it!
Our Primary grades are getting ready for our first Fine Arts Night! Featuring shadow puppet shows with Saint-Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals” and Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf.” Join us in the Jefferson Gym at 6:30 pm on November 15th.
